I'm not the only one thinking that then.
his penalty was not justified though, it was a overtaking manouvre that went wrong. It happens at the start of every race but you dont see nobody else getting punished

agree with the above comments..... had a chat with my mate in toro rosso again (obviously gutted because of the Bordais punishment...for doing what exactly?!?!?!...) and he said that the FIA / Bernie are just manufacturing the championship for a close finish... simple as that... what a sad waste of money then this 'sport' is if there is already a predetermined winner in mind.

Couldn't agree more - people (including the drivers themselves) have been banging on about how boring F1 has been boring for years. The momment someone starts making moves on people he gets penalised and the drivers winge about him donig so! - what message is this really sending out - DON'T OVERTAKE!
I remeber the days when racing incidents exsisted, haven't seen one of them for a while

F1 the football players of Motorsport.........................boo hoo!
They have priced themselves out of a market and some teams will suffer due to the Crunch. No North American GP next year but another money spinning Arab Country getting one. It's the same with the WRC, Rally Jordan!

I think the Hamilton penalty was a complete farce after what Kimi managed to get away with in Monaco. Not like he did anyone any damage other than himself.
Same goes for the Massa/Bourdais collision, as quoted after the race from Bourdais "what else could I do , roll out the red carpet and give him the corner!"
The Massa punt into Hamilton I saw as a 50/50 type incident which Coulthard seems to have made his speciality this year. No doubt Massa was only given a penalty because of the bias the public sees the FIA as having with Ferrari.
Wouldn't be surprised if next weekends race is similarly cocked around with to take the championship to the final race.
Hopefully Kubica will ****** it away from them both and make us all happy!

Race prediction for the chinese grand prix:- hamilton 1st, massa 2nd, but hamilton receives a penalty for something or other to put him back to 4th, putting them level for brazil where massa wins and lewis comes 2nd,

I can't believe the stick Hamilton has been getting over the last week or so. I hope he lands this championship so he can ram it down the throat of the hate mob.

Glad he is pole, but wish Kovalienen was 2nd, to have 3 drivers gunning for you at the 1st corner (4 if you count the stewards), thats pressure!!
Looking forward to it all the same.
