hi all. i need to replace the rear dampers on my wrx 1996. i went to my local car parts store and they told me that they couldnt help me because my car is an import and the suspension is diffrent to the uk cars.they said im going to have to go to the dealer.
anyway i was just wondering if this is true are they actually diffrent? i cant understand the point of them being diffrent.

It's probably going to be cheaper and more efficiant for you to replace all of them with aftermarket dampers and springs.... maybe the KYB brand is worth you looking into.
