Thank God for the people of Scoobynet
Think to when you bought your Impreza(s) and think about how much easier ownership of such a fine motor has been due to the help, advice and warm welcome members of Scoobynet has provided.
I can't imagine how things would have been over the 2 years or so since I picked up the car without you people on here.
The advice you have provided has been invaluable. Literally.
I don't think I would know a tenth of what I know now about Imprezas if it weren't for you lot.
I don't post all that often as I usually write nonsense by typing and posting before i have engaged my brain but hey ho, I try to be friendly.
I ought to pull my finger out and come along to more meets but I am just a lazy sod in that department even though its always a pleasure to see lots of Imprezas in one spot.
I prefer to see the on the move though and the more the better. A bit like that time the VC led us throught the lanes to Talybont after the Cyfarther castle meet in autumn 2006. What a turn out.
We ought to have more mobile meets.
When I attended my first meet I tagged along with a couple of youngsters from yonder valley. When we arrived they were shocked to see that those in attendance were a sensible bunch. I think they were expecting a more 'juvenile' crowd (think corsa's et al).
I haven't took them time to get to know many on here or at the few meets I have been to but those I have got to know are well grounded individuals.
Apologies if this post seems pointless. It just struck me though just how lonely car enthusiasm can be when you don't have others to share it with.
So all I can say is thank God for you lot.

Thats a very thoughtful post there Dan, and I can safely say we felt the same and wouldn't want it any other way. You learn some much from the people with experience on here .

Well!!! Without you lot on scoobynet i would have more money in my pocket!!!!
Dan, your right about that run, it was one of the best i have been on and i have been on a few with other clubs too.
Another one is a great idea, i havnt had a chance to give the car a proper run since the re-map so it would be good to see how she measures up now.
VC, over to you mate

I forgot to mention in my initial post that I went on a heck of a run with Richy B, Cremin and some others of the Mid Wales Scooby's from Newtown through Cadw Idris to Tywyn and back.
I have to say it was an excellent run. Trulym excellent. I got to thank you Rich for that.
