Default car trouble

hi
driving home tonight with the window down could hear hissing sound like something is leaking when the revs get to about 2500 it loses power and about 300 it sounds like ythe dump valve have to change up drove home this way noticed the car drop off boost 0nce or twice before
cars going in the garage tomorrow for new discs and pads

What sort of dump valve to you have Mike? could it be leaking boost.

Its wort just checking to see if the rubber diaphragm is in good nic unless its a piston type, might be worth a look.

Sounds like it losing pressure, might be worth checking all the pipes and as said worth checking the dump valve

car went into garage today to have front discs and pads changed drove great their and back phoned them to see if any pipes were split nothing said might be dump valve if its sticking said should try cleaning it with carb cleaner might clean it saturday anyway

I had the same prob with my Bailey, so did my mate with the Bailey on his Evo. I changed it for a Forge dump Valve and problem solved. Very simular in price but the quality of the Forge is far superior.
