There is a train service from Bargoed to Cardiff but i think the last train back is about 11pm.
I've never be out in Bargoed but from what i've heard there's quite a lot of pubs and a club called Blisters but apprantly it's quite rough.
I wouldn't think you'd get much change if any from £50 for a taxi from cardiff if u miss the last train back.

you need to catch the RHYMNEY TRAIN(note the spelling cause there are 2 ) they run every half an hour on the weekend i think the last train is 10.30p.m taxi is prob 50 quid bit if there is a few of you it might be worth staying out in cardiff and get taxi as not the best night out in bargoed. Why are you staying in bargoed could you not get nearer to cardiff

Caerphilliy would have been good......
there's one by the Cedar Tree and one by Crossways....
Taxi to Caerphilly is about £15 probable a few more quid to get down to get to Crossways or Cedar Tree...... no more than £20
Train station in Caer town and plenty of pubs....
It shouldn't cost £50 SURELY ??
Tis an extra 7 miles from Caer......... if it is... ring me and I'll do the trip for that
