Had the uprated Tracstar tracker fitted today
Was having probs with battery drain so had the tracker changed

the old one ...when u switch off engine and lock car would search for its location for 6 hours using up battery power
the newer version only searches for 1 hour thus using less battery



TOP TIP off the gut doing the install


Dont bother driving with the sidelights on the car.. to help charge battery -
it wont put enough of a charge in unless heater radio and anything else u can think of is on

Always put the REAR DEMISTER on and keep putting it on when it resets after 15 mins
this will keep the battery charged

hope this makes a difference to my battery
