I've over taken plenty of bikes on that road and left them behind when it gets to the twisty bits.
Don't get me wrong on the straights the bikes are quicker to get back up to speed but the car is so much faster through the corners. Even more in the cars favour on a nice damp morning with no traffic.
The bikes have the bonus of getting by the traffic so much quicker than a car, any short strieghts and they fly past. But then again it's so much warmer in the car, the seats are more comfy and you don't look like a power ranger when you get to where your going.
