Is it safe to run sport/de-cat system?
Im finally in a position to get the downpipe replaced with a sport cat and the rest straight through but a re-map is a few weeks away yet at least.
So, will running sport and de-cats have a negative affect on the car and is it damaging or will i just not get the best out of it before having a re-map?
Im not in a rush to get the system replaced but i will get it done now if it wont cause me any problems so that i cant spend the money on sweets and chocolate

Don't change the system until you are as close to mapping day as possilbe, and even then stay off boost. This was the advice Bob gave me when i was changing the exhaust system prior to my map.
It will effect the car and can cause over boosting.
