THIS IS MY FIRST SCOOBY WRX STI 1995 IVE JUST FOUND MY ECU ITS A K6 THE LAST OWNER SAID TO ME ITS DE-LIMITED TO 112 MPH IVE BOUGHT A CHIP FOR IT DO I HAVE TO SOLDER THE CHIP ON TO ECU CHEERS

 

it might be worth you posting on the general and technical about this someone will know or will help

 

The speedo on an my95 car is cable driven, so all you have to do is buy a converter which goes on the end of the speedo cable, either gearbox or clocks end, which will also make your speedo display mph instead of the standard kilometers/ph. Thats the way everyone gets round it. Converter's around the £60 mark.

 

Or do you mean a performance chip? I took it to mean a delimeter chip.
