I was down that way over the weekend - i saw a few scoobs though didn't wave as i am in an black RS4 thesedays and you would have proably thought i was a tw*t!! Any of you lot spot me??!!

Its a real coincidence how the owners* of the two (potentially) fastest cars (IMO disclaimer) have moved to RS4's. A mate of mine in Soton moved to the RS4 Estate 2 years ago from a WR1 after a P1. They must be very nice it but sounds like they cost a little more to run than the scooby.
Stuck with mine now for a year unless I send it back home to sell. Otherwise its an €8000 bill from the Dutch Tax office. Then I think its time to import an EVO from the US seeing as every man and their dog are fleeing the marque now as it fails to keep alive the reasons we all bought one in the first place.

It's horses for courses Gaz.
I'm pretty certain the RS isn't any slower than my old sti but due to the way power is delivered it feels it (linear as opposed to nothing, nothing bang!) Taking a look down at the speedo makes you realise it's probably not!
Believe it or not so far this is cheaper to run than the scoob, both in petol and servicing.
I just fancied a change for a number of reasons. I still love scooby's and wouldn't be surprised if i get another one at some time but the RS is pure class.
