Default Induction kit / Maf Sensor

If I fit an APS cold air kit, what happens to the Maf sensor. Anyone fitted one and can advise.
It's a 99 STI RA v5 if that helps.
Also has anyone fitted a V7/8 TMIC to a V5 STI.

I aint no expert but an APS CAK will require a remap otherwise you risk blowing your motor due to running lean.

I will be remapping it.
Hoping to get all mods done or ready for when Andy Forest is down next.

Thats different then

I think anyone will tell you that any kind of induction kit is best avoided if possible, mafs don't like them
Of course if your running a front mount then out don't have any choice but you Will need to make it as secure as possible, they don't like any vibration.
Give Andy F a bell I'm sure he will point you right.
