The Evo has been around for a while - AFAIK it gets shared between the various Cardiff police districts, so will show up in one area for a week, then move on somewhere else.
They also have at least one silver unmarked Volvo saloon that is often around Culverhouse Cross ( saw it hammering after an Audi with the blues flashing recently with a marked up traffic car behind ).
Moral of the story - dont race anyone in an Evo unless they are wearing backwards baseball cap, have a huge exhaust, stickers all over the car and a carbon spoiler !

The black Evo's reg is CN06 DBX and it works ANPR all along the M4 corridor. It regularly works the Port Talbot area, its passed me in the truck quite a few times. Their a bit keen with it, it's on it's 4th engine already! Don't race it...you'll always lose!

the car is fantastic, but see it as BIG BROTHER which is a pity. Evo's are great, government are c**ts.

The Bridgend pursuit force had 3 black Evo's but two of them were written off by their drivers. There is only one left now which is an FQ400 and is often used to patrol known 'car theft hotspots' as a deterrent to the local would-be-thieves.
