Default South Wales type R owners need your help (Please)

Hello guys long time no speak, met a few of you before (i used to have a 93 WRX as rebuilt by API). I have since had a starlet turbo, and now a celica GT4. However i miss the scooby noise, looks, and the meets. I fancy an STi type R, however never been in one etc etc.

So need some help of any local owners as to more advice on the cars (what they are like to own, what they are like to drive etc, etc.) before i put the GT4 up for sale.

I am based in swansea, so please guys any help greatfully received.

We both replied at the same time shame the budget does not stretch to it. You know the possibilties of buying an earlier higher milage one though from previous experiance so just bare that in mind.

Unfortuantely I wont be at the next meet. I would be careful of high mileage, replacement engine job Type-R's. I looked at LOADS before I bought mine. Lot of stinkers out there.

How do you fancy a Type Ra? If so, one could be coming on the market very soon.....

In brief:

A 1996 WRX STI Type RA.
Done 53,000 miles - imported (and ill have to check at home on this, 2005) when it was converted to run on MPH and the milage converted on the speedo.
I am the second UK owner - it has Oz racing alloys, Blits Nur Spec Straight through exhaust, Turbo timer, HKS SQV Dump Valve, Kenwood CD Face off ICE - apart from these sensible modifications, a very straight and genuine car
