Default What I did to-day

What I did to-day (painted calipers)

I managed to finnish off painting my calipers to-day, nothing too fancy just refresh the black. I also thought i'd paint the rusty bells as well just to freshen things up a bit

Here are the rusty bells and calipers, i used some wire wool to clean off the surface dust and rust then cleaned them with brake cleaner.

Then using hammerite smooth paint I painted the discs after masking everything up, i did not worry about the paint on the discs the paint will soon wear off .
I then mixed up a small amount of the two pack calper paint and gave them two coats.
Much better IMO.

I took a pic of my Costco alloy jack as well for those who have not seen one

All ready now for my new wheels to go one now that the worst of winter is hopefully over.

Kev

Nice finish mate, wheels will look great to, are you keeping the original wheels or selling them on?
Only reason i ask is because my mate may be interested.
