As most of you know i'm not backward in coming forward so when a good freind puts a thought in my head and knowing that he's not going to go for it then as small as i am look out i'm coming through
as most of us know there was a wrc subaru flying aroud chepstow race course on the weekend which was taking people out around a track it was only open to a select few of the the company that he worked for or it was a lot of money to pay for a ride for yourself when you have your boy with you and is already doing a good job of robing me blind but it was is 1st car show so what the hell let him have i thought
so when daz says to me go and ask him for a blast around the course
when he got out of the car for a drink i pounced on him asking about the car in turn him asking me about mine and saying that i'm with the south wales scoobys he told me wait there
and fair play as he came back he just started pointing at me telling me to get a helmet
well i've always had a lot of respect for a rally driver but now i think it's safely to say they are gods apart from seeing my kids come into this world this is by far the biggest buzz i've ever had
i study'd this guy most of the day (when i was'nt distracted by other things ) from the start he seemed to be giving it his all and when the tarmac ended before the apex of the bend and the gravel began he seemed to go faster and have more grip we must have hit a ton on the back straight and we were airbourne and sideways but i think what impressed me more than anything is the way that machine stopped in the dirt for the life of me i cant remember the guys name hope someone can remember as i think the guy should have a round of aplause

forgot to mention the suspention to that was somthing else aswell
so much travel and rebound the car was travelling over the ruts and cutting the corners which must have been 12" high the car just soaked it all up i was gobsmacked trying to do that in our cars we would have rolled it so many times and left a lot of shiney bits on the back striaght you just could not do it
this is by far on the top of my most wanted list
all i need now is me 6 numbers and she's mine
and if it does happen then you can all have a go how does that sound

not being funny mate but damien cole isn't much of a driver, loads better about and i've watched him on a stage rally and he's nothing special, seen a video of him from a few years back and a standard rally metro, not a 6R4 caught and passed him and he was in a ex wrc car!!!

 

I think that will put a smile on your face even in years to come. Your face was a picture when we seen you after. I think thats was conviced the girls to have a go, didn't get to go in the scoob but they enjoyed it just the same.

 

Richie ,it must be that sweet innocent charm and boyish good looks that got you the ride, perhaps he fancied you....... you never know!!!!!

 

he didnt look that bad from were i was,i think as most that was there he was one of the best on that day anyway.

well he was the best as you say on the day and he had been practicing all day to so he new the track
and as i said it was the car that impressed me the driver just give me a glimpse of what it can really do in its proper enviroment
and we must not forget it was buck sheeee
