Default Tesco Culver now have 99Ron SUL

But its 101.9 ppl!

Why the sudden hike? Is it the tension in the Middle East or what causing the big hike?

We put some of that in the car at Tesco on Western Avenue the other week and paid 97.9p. They've just had it put in Tesco at Penarth Marina and that too is 101.9p.

I think mine runs much cleaner on it. I have'nt done a fuel check yet, let you know when I fill up again. Interesting that Tesco used to buy all their fuel on the open market, the dreggs as you might say. I wonder where 99 comes from then.

They buy it from an Oil Refinary called green energy that only sells to them!

I put £50 worth in my tank at Culver today, (good to see you again BIGBRAKES ), it'll be interesting to compare it against Texaco HighOctane SUL that I normally use.

I tend to steer well clear of supermarket fuel and always use Texaco or Total SUL (same fuel/refinery I believe), it was also mapped on Texaco so I'll run a few tanks through it and report any observations.

Shame it's still not in Bridgend (and unlikely to be by the looks of it). It means a lengthy round trip each time I fill up (although the missus lives in Cardiff so it's on route most weeks if I'm over her's).
