Urgent! What Oil?????
I need to go on a long trip in my Scoob now, but have just noticed that my Oil level and Gear Oil level are low!!!!
What type should I use?
And how do you top up gear Oil?
Any urgent replies will be very much appreciated!

you need to run the car for 5 minutes before checking the oil levels or you get a incorrect reading and you don't want to put to much oil in these cars, or these break or need replacing!!!!!! I had to have my old intercooler removed and clean as it was pissing out oil fthrough the dump valve due to the way the engine breaths.
I use Motul 300V 15-50W in mine and haven't had any problems.
Gear oil is put in through the gear oil dip stick which is to the left of the intercooler at the back of engine bay down near the turbo, An absolute ******* to fill up, I used a piece of hose. Oil was Silkilen 75-90W fully synth
