firstly you need to take the lights out the car, then using a hairdryer heat up the mastic holding the front and rear part of the lens together and prise it apart - you've then got the access you need to take out the orange surround. Once their out just seal the lens back up with black silicone sealent
Be careful when taking the light out/putting it back in - its easy to chip the paint on the wing corners - i used electrical tape to put over the corners/bumper to minimise possible damage!

Very nice, welcome back ofter your brief absence. I'm looking for a blobeye STi as my next car too, although it'll have to be the faster version than yours, (ie. The WR Blue one ).
