Post Valeting

The road car is going in for a full valet, inside, outside, and engine bay, this week, need to get on top of it, been down to see what type of job they do, let him do all the talking, said they will take off all the road grime and old polish before they start on it, then put two coats on followed by one to give that deep wet look reflection, ref, the engine bay (with out any promt from me) he said they will blank of the I/C, alarm, so hopefully they can get rid of that wax inhibitor thats been there from new, so it should look a lot better for the R/R day..

So if it works out ok you should all see it on saturday and let me know if i had done the wright thing..

It will be good to see that John....
Sorry I never got around to phoning you last weekend as I never got to giving mine a good going over... have a bad cold this weekend as well here so I'm hoping for sunshine next Friday so I can have a go on mine in the afternoon ready for the RR as well.

I will be interested to see the under bonnet results as that sticky stuff that they spray on makes it like fly paper and all the dust and grime stick on it.

Machine polish on the outside John ?

Thanks.
Rich.

In Newport, the price at this time i can not say due to the fact it may only be a one of, the owner is not sure if he can take on extra work, due to the fact they do the prep on new/used vehicels for main dealers in south east wales..

Will see if he will give me prices if he decides to take on the extra work,

If it goes all well you should see the results on saturday at the R/R day at Powersation..

Thumbs up

Ref the engine bay, have to take it back again, he wants to have another go at it (free of charge) he said he just ran out of time..but its still a big improvement on what it was like at the start..

Ref cost £50 for a full valet including engine bay..

Engine bay only, to be agreed on seeing the car..

The Suzuki goes in for a make over next week..
