Its time for some mods, not my fault! ha ha
After a long trip to API today with Daz and Seab and then seeing a few lovely cars including si`s type r mmmmmm its time to have a bit more power in my car so i want to get the rest of the exhaust system with sports cat, uprated fuel pump and then a remap. where should i source the exhaust and fuel pump, where`s the place to take my car for a remap then? looking to do this pretty soon. What bhp is the car now ? what are you looking for ?
Decide a budget.... do you want to source parts from a few places and fit them or do you want to pay for a package and get them to either supply the parts or you work with them and you supply the parts they are happy with.
Don't rush educate yourself a little on what the options are
If you have a map and then decide to change parts you will be having another map later... my advice is to research set some targets and see what is the best route to take.
Sorry I sound like your father

Is it a UK car Dan ?
2k is a ton of cash bud the world is your oyster
Budget this out...
£600 re-map.
£1400 left in the pot.
£400 big Turbo.
£1000 in the pot.
Your going to have change from it as well.
£400 Defi gauges (keep your eyes on the vitals.... big power must)
£600 left in the pot.
Ported Headers... Sports Cat and the jobs a good un
1p in the pot
Do you need a fuel pump not sure what's fitted on yours ?
Are you keeping your Blitz ? if so you only need half a pipe
** estimated figures mind **

Tyres,
Brakes,
Suspension/Chassis,
Once they are done to your liking, (these will make your car far quicker than you could imagine), then may be look at more power..
IMHO..
