Call A-plan lads, they are very flexible on mods and no one could touch the quote the gave me this year. They got my business now for the 2nd year.

A plan for me!!! I used Confused last year when insurance was up for renewal all bar one of there insurance companies wouldn't touch mods, the one that would quote was the company I was already with (privilege)

Phoned A Plan: £400 cheaper with all mods declared over my renewal.

Hi Dan,

Did you phone the A-Plan office in Theale (IIRC) directly, or a local branch?

I think the branch is in Thatcham, the local branches don't have access to the insurance company they use. I think it's rob who deals with the impreza's etc, He really knows his stuff, Don't be affraid to mention all mods, he'll know what they are and it doesn't affect the premium that much

Check out this sticky in the insurance section

Is that a definate quote..? I find with that site until you go to the companies website they reccomend and put in all the nitty gritty details, it then all comes out no cheaper..

A lot of the guys on SIDC have gone with Kieth Michaels Insurance.. I think you have to be a member though.. the info is on the SIDC site..
