had a good week here, started well with a letter from CVC saying i had won a Burns autographed rally jacket on tuesday and friday a phonecall from Mitsubishi to say i have won a day at a rally school and possibly a vip visit to the monte carlo rally

Think most of the people who won things must have put their names in the hat then buggered off. Most of those that bothered staying didnt seem to win much. If you had you could have had a kiss off Sara Edwards.Maybe if I do the same next year Ill win something. Mark if your jacket doesnt fit then why not give it to me.

Seriously though it was a good night at CVC. They did us proud. Said they would do even better next year.

Are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin.

I had already had my invite from CVC as I bought my DBM MY99 from there Sep 99.

My mate Snake, who also posts on here (even though he drives and RS )once had his wife's car serviced at Dutton Forshaw, the Cardiff Peugot garage. As a result he got us an invite to their evening with the Peugot team, drivers etc.

Putting two and two together, I phoned the Mitsubishi garage (White Dove) on the cheeky off chance asking them if they were having a promotional evening given the Network Q was being held in Cardiff. She asked if I had not yet received my invitation. I told her I didn't drive a Mitsy but was trying to blag my way in to the various dealer promotional nights. She said she would check if it was OK for me to go and ring me back later. She did and asked me to go in the next day to pick up my invitation.
