As heading really. Had a look on the internet but looks as though there are no track days held at Pembrey. Anyone know if there is a reason for this?

Next closet I guess is Castle Combe. Not that close from sunny Haverfordwest though

I dont believe they do as the citcuit is used mostly for karting and other race series.. i race my kart their and it is a top circuit.
Had you thought about Llandow near cardiff for a track day.. I have done a few there in my lotus 7 and more recently in the TVR, its a great track and very local for us living in S.wales. have a look at www.bookatrack.com as they do events their.. might take the scoob their at some point as the tyres only have 2k left on them..

I know that Bassets Honda (Swansea), are organising a track day at Pembrey on Tuesday 7th June 2005.

There are 50 places available in total and 25 of these have allready been taken by Honda Type R/Teg/S2000 owners that have bought cars through the dealership. There will also be a few Porsche GT3's there for good measure and an Exige. I'llbe in my track prepped Mk2 CRX (don't laugh).

We will be split into beginner, intermediate and advanced sessions. Each session will last around 15mins. The sessions will rotate so will be like;
Beginner 15min
Intermediate 15 min
Advanced 15min
Beginner 15min
Intermediate 15 min
Advanced 15min
etc

So you could do as many sessions as the rotations allow. There may be an open pit in the afternoon but this will be down to the organisers discretion.

If your interested, you need to phone Richard Baker at Bassets Honda in Swansea on (01792) 310700. He will send you a form to complete along with payment instructions. Cost is £120 all inc.

Any non-Hondas will be ok, as there are Porsche's and Lotus's running too.

Seems like a good deal to me.
