My Car is dead !!!!!!!!!
Sadly last friday I filled my car up with optimax and put a nitrox fuel additive in it for the first time. Less than half a tank later the car started to missfire and splutter badly. It was driven down the m4 towards drj motors on the tuesday in which a loud whine came from the engine and the car came to a stop. Looking at a new bottom half of the engine at the very least... I have been offered 11k for the car as it stands and have decided to let it go. Sadly I only owned my sti7 for 6 weeks and loved it dearly but the bill id face to fix this is too much for me to consider.

Hi mate
I know exactly how you feel mate. Had my scooby 6 weeks ago, brilliant, dream car, then 3 weeks later BANG, the engine blows. Contacted drj motorsport and they came to pick my car up on tuesday, called them yesterday and they said it very bad news, It's gonna cost me about 4 grand to repair. When you've just paid out £8k for a car, the thought of paying out another £4k is crippling!!!! I've thought about selling the car as it is but nobody's really interested in buying a broken car. So i've decided that i'm gonna somehow get the money together to repair it.

Am I correct in assuming that this is an import? If it was a UK car it would still be covered under warranty as the STi7 hit the streets IIRC in 2002 (another aassumption that it's in standard trim).
Bad luck anyway.
