Question

Sammy...knowing the Oracle that you are, could you advise please?

Recently fitted a SECS unit and it's showing a peak boost of 1.48 BAR/ 21.7 PSI...your starter for 10 is, is that normal/safe for PPP'd STi ? or can a expect something to go bang soon.

Cheers M8
Gareth

By the way, you're all welcome to comment/add advice, it wasn't soley aimed at Sammy, but you know how upset he gets if he's not asked first

Well since you asked, save me contacting Simon at Psi3, another little test for you....

When the SECS is first plugged in to the ECU port does it read past peak values, or the parameters of the ECU.

The reason I ask is that after plugging in it showed a peak speed of 158mph , but peak rpm wasn't as high as the shift light which I certainly have hit Just wondering if I've done 158 mph with realising

Any suggestions

Have you re-set the unit? It could be some old values from a test they do before they send it out And make sure its set to MPH not MPH+ as that will over read, i've seen 198mph on mine with that setting
