just to add, I'll be staying in brecon the night before, so no probs meeting at the services, any idea how long it will take from there?

Anyone got any tips for taking the car on the strip for the first time? I havent decided If I'm going to do 3 runs on the strip yet, is there anything to worry about?

Nothing to worry about, just make sure your oil and water are fine, just rev around 4-5000rpm and drop the clutch when you see green, or if your Twigster hold it around 7500rpm and then drop the clutch (not advisable too many times).
Chris Garner and I both did 7 runs over the ultimate street car weekend, this was on the hottest weekend of the year back in August and the cars were fine after. Looking forward to this one as the weather, rain permitting should be near perfect.

performance car show at santa pod on sun 12th oct
admission:£10 per person on the gate.
£8 if booked in advance tel no 01234 782828
there's a run what you brung on the strip
(£12 for 3 runs)
there is trade stands and car clubs.
i have a limited number of sidc stand tickets
we will leve magor services on the m4 early on sunday 12th oct at 6AM.
if you are coming please post or call me on 07957168548 and
i will reserve you a sidc stand pass.
