Nipped out from work for lunch today, and driving past the Swansea Daewoo dealership noticed that as well as the Daihatsu and Isuzu signs they've put up recently, they now have a Subaru sign up too
Maybe finally somewhere in Swansea to get scooby bits...

Spoke with the guys at the Singleton Park Show. The are definately taking on the Scooby official dealership. Prodrive kit will also be available including PPP. They also mentioned the current WRC car will be at their stand in the Swansea Car Show that will be staged on the Recreation Ground next to Swansea rugby pitch. Due to be held mid July possibly 13th.
They are already able to service Scoobies.

Called in for a look today and had a chat with the chap on the Subaru desk.
He told me basically what jhdee just said.
They are able to do parts and servicing now, and should have some cars in in a few days time. And from the sounds of things they are gonna be an official Subaru dealer
Handy to have for parts, if perhaps not for servicing (if they're gonna charge Subaru prices). Will still prolly travel to Carmarthen for my 60k service in 1200 miles time...

i called in there yesterday, was talking to a chap outside who asked if my car was a genuine sti ?
told me i'd put the prodrive kit on it, told him its a prodrive, he said he been up to subaru hq last week and driven the new impreza, the uk300 with a ppp !
fair enough, i only wanted to order a set of prodrive springs not buy a car off them, he said the parts and service side was up and running, went inside , asked to order the springs, cant do anything till next week as their not up and running yet,
wouldnt take my car there for servicing , attracted loads of attention there, dont fancy pepole used to servicing 5k daewoos test driving my scoob, will use it for parts though, when i need them

Mark.
Could have a valid point there. Out of curiosity where do you take yours for servicing?
I took mine to CVC for the 1k, attitude left something to be desired, maybe because it's an Euro UK Spec Import.
I was going to Keith Price next time, but maybe I'll try the new Swansea place.

i take mine to cvc, their not brilliant though, fine when your buying a car, not so keen otherwise, its a pain in the **** going up there all the time, mines going in thursday for a fuel pump and rear strut, got to drop it off at 130, borrow a car to fetch the kids from school and go back to fetch it, i used the old subaru/mitsi dealer in swansea before, they were ok

I agree with sammy,
you wont go wrong if you stick with keith price in abergavenny, top guys and honest down to earth opinions without the bull**** thrown in for good measures!(nice drive up there as well!)

"mines going in thursday for a fuel pump and rear strut".
Mark - the new motor's not falling apart already is it? I thought subarus were supposed to be reliable (even J Clarkson Esq. thinks so)!

no, lol, an uprated fuel pump to go with the ppp and the usual rear near side strut clonking at low speed, i want to get it sorted before i get some prodrive springs and get the geometry set up
