scooby from the valleys

had to take my beaut up to keith price today,seems to have a worrying tapping when the car is cold(below 45 degrees)lasts up to 8 miles or so and then clears up.
as shes still under warranty im hoping they can sort it out for me,got to admit, the guys up there seem top geezers,and lent me a legacy to pootle home in!
hoping for some good news tomorrow!

If it turns out to be a slapper (piston slap) make sure they go the whole hog and change the complete block.

Just changing a piston may only be a short term fix, when mine was done 2 of the cylinders were knocking.
