carbon mirrors
#2
Got some on rallycar. They're handy on that because they don't get knocked back into the windows when clipping trees, but they're b****y useless as mirrors, especially the nearside. The field of view is non-existent...
I'd suggest that if there's nothing wrong with your current ones, leave them exactly where they are!
If you want a look, have a gander at:

Just checked all three links and they work now. Looking at the time you posted, I was uploading them around then so may be that you got there a little early. Last pic is the best one anyway.
Not 100% sure where they came from, it'll either have been Prodrive or Town End Garage. Seem to recall they're something like £250 plus VAT a pair.
If you get some, make sure you seal them to the door with something as they leak a little bit without something there to plug the holes. Not problem in rallycar, but it'll **** you off on a road vehicle...

I have carbon mirrors on my scoob.....based on the prodrive ones.
They came from Rhidian at DRJ Motors in Carmarthen (he posts on here as S55 DRJ.
They take a bit of gettin used to but I find the field of vision ok now.
Let me know if you want some pics and I'll mail em to you.
