You think u had a long walk -
At the North car park on halfway they shut the only access road before 11am (apparently car park full with 400 cars). What most of the poor sods were doing was attempting the 7 1/2 mile walk down the road to dixies corner.
After driving two hours to get there I was tempted myself since it was the only non-ticket car park on the stage. But with my 9 year old boy in tow decied this was unwise.

What a total bl@@dy shambles, you would think they would open the gate and let poeple drive a bit closer and park up on the road rather than walk for 3 hours (each way).

Luckily after driving around looking for another way in a friendly bobby advised that they were letting poeple pay on the day at the ticket only car park at Crychan. As it happens we had a great day but was almost a disaster and I really felt for the peeps at halfway.

Hopefully some lessons can be learned by the organisers for next year and they will cater more for the casual spectator rather than these ticket only ripoffs.
