Hi all

Hope all those taking part in the Big Newport meet has a great time....are you planning to post any pics on here?..it would be nice for those unlucky to miss the gathering to get a flavour of the event

I was out and about around Usk Sunday afternoon, but wasn't sure of your route, half expected to hear the familar burble of Scooby exhausts, but no joy

It would be nice to know what I missed

Very good day for all i think. Lovely driving roads and good company. Some got lost for about 30 mins along the way but soon rejoined thanks to the nice chap in the Mondeo, man can he drive

My first scooby meet was yesterday and i hope that more meets are planned really soon as i really enjoyed the day!

Thanks to Nils for coming over and telling me, woulda missed the whole thing if you hadn't!

I'm sure some pics where taken so watch this space.

Thought the escort was one of the targets the army boys use for live fire exercises on the ranges.
Perhaps we should send the pic to FHM for their Who the Hell are You? feature

The Escort was indeed a real one and a very nice one at that! (Chris' son Richard)

GarethE.....Shhhhhhh. We weren't supposed to be on the range! but our original route to Brecon via Lower/Upper chapel was not possible due to a fatal bike accident (4 bikes) :-(....Don't shoot! a farmer told us to go this way honest... ;-)

lol..farmer, i'm sure they would have believed us...besides we coulda just run them all over and stole the guns The roads we werent supposed to be on were awesome i loved every minute driving on them. Even had the wheels spinning at a few points.

Amazing day thoroughly enjoyed it.
