Default Comedy tyre fitting costs!!

I do like to shop around but looking into tyre fitting costs has been a blast. I have had a variety of quotes from £12 to £18 a corner but Kwik Fit have come up with the winner. After a few minutes of deliberation, asking my details, asking the details of the car and "checking the computer", the guy came back with a reasonable £102 all in!! I actually laughed out loud on the phone when he told me, do people really fall for this bollocks!!! Even a main dealer was less than half this price!! Priceless!

On my daily oil burner, I get charged £12.50 per wheel/tyre at a local independent tyre shop.

Kwik Fit are a joke & I wouldn't let them change a bike tyre....my local one anyhow!!

I get charged £20 all in out here in croatia but he also checks the geo, that's when going from summer to winter tyres.

UK £30 if I do all 4 or £10 for the odd one, but I have been going to him for about 25yrs.

Got mine going on now at a main dealer for £48 all in so £12 a corner. I have shopped around and £12 is the best I have been quoted. I know a couple of others that would have probably been cheaper but last time I took my wheels to the really cheap fitter they manged to shave the paint off 3 of the 4 rims!
