Adam,
Welcome to SN, especially the Wales bit and the huge knowledge base of many of it's members. Turbo timers really are a waste of money and can invalid your insurance, they do nothing to the car or it's performance.

If it needs a diagnostic then have it done properly at a reputable garage.
You say it's not pulling better than normal, have you modded it? Or was it modded before you bought it?

The turbo timer is a waste. Unless you drive like a hooligan and drive to your house at 100 mph and stop then they are useless. Normal driving to your home will suffice, no one in motorsport uses them as they are just a gimmick. The sticker on the door of UK Subaru's recommend just driving off boost for a small amount of time. I have a thread search on here and you will see.

And as I said insurance companies do not like them but as you seem set on it then crack on.

I am not quite getting what your saying about mods and pulling better. Are you after a remap?

Hi Adam, welcome along to the Welsh section of ScoobyNet
As Ian has said above a turbo timer is really a waste of time bothering with. Stick up for sale over on the SIOC page on FB, I'm sure they'll be all over it like a drunk on a chicken doner. If your looking for upgrades we're pretty good at recommending lots of things to help you spend the money that's burning a hole in your pocket.
