Japfest 2015 - SWS Stand
Guys,
Japfest will be upon us soon, ie 16th May.
Lets start a list now as it will need booking pretty soon if we want space.
Price is £25 per car which allows upto 4 people.
If interested, add your name though dont assume i'm organising this one just yet as i'm pretty busy already.

Right guys I'm gonna volunteer for this one seeing as it's always the usual culprits to organise things, let's face it if they didn't do it who would
So I have sent an email off to Japfest stating our interest and I am just waiting for the particulars to come back like cut off dates etc.
I'm sure I have read on other pages the cut off is the 30th of April, however I don't intend leaving it that late and getting stuffed in a spot for x amount of cars which usually gets smaller when we arrive as always, so was hoping to get an early entry list.
The names down so far are all game for this so I'm gonna put a cut off date of SUNDAY 29th OF MARCH.
This gives us 2 full months for people to get their names down and send payment over. Imho that should be more than enough time to get the list together and for people to stumble across the thread if they have some how missed it.
This will hopefully help towards getting a decent space ( we can only hope )
If before that date we have a good list and everybody has paid we can pull it earlier, I've already asked for a nice pitch on the black stuff in the paddock area LOL
Any thoughts are welcome

It's a shame that all those who come out of the woodwork at show time never bother with any meets or other stuff we organise. Apart from booking a few camping pitches for the McRae Weekender and a few shows I am not doing much this year.

All of a sudden they want club parking rather than parking in amongst the door dingers, I am not referring to any visiting 'Saes' who choose to park with us, I am talking about local owners who use us out of convenience.

Hi guys, had this reply earlier today:-
Hi Craig,
Many thanks for your e-mail.
The cut-off date for clubs for Japfest is Friday, 10th April.
Once you have made your booking, please e-mail your request as to where ideally you would like your club stand to be. We shall then pass it on to the company planning that area. We can't guarantee that we can accommodate your request, but we shall certainly do our best.
Best wishes,
Sue Loy
Events Administrator
So the closing date is earlier than thought, so if our list is looking pretty healthy before the 29th perhaps move the cut off date earlier? What do you think? If everybody who's name is down has paid before the 29th and the thread has slowed down close it up and get our entry in?
I'm not expecting miracles with regards to the pitch after the years you guys have been at it, but we can keep on trying
If people want to send payments over to:-
craig.lewis@libertycareltd.com
Please include your NAME, REGISTRATION & FORUM I.D.
If people want their passes mailed out ( this is dependant on when I receive the passes, I'm assuming their will be ample time to send ) please include your address and postcode along with an extra £2.34 for Royal Mail first class recorded delivery. Other than this, if there is a meet before the event I can bring them along then or simply collect them on the day of event at Magor, can sort the finer details out on that front later as usual.
Please send the payments as gift, unless of course you want to add the fees on top
If anybody spots anything I've missed please feel free to add
