The stage 2 kit is rated for an estimated 80% torque capacity increase over stock and should be considered a 'FAST ROAD' clutch which provides a little extra clamping force to avoid slip under load, but retains good driveability and logetivity with the full faced friction plate.
The stage 4 is rated for an estimated 250% torque increase over stock. The high clamping load makes this ideal for much higher torque ratings. The lighter, 6 puck, ceramic drive plate is lighter and heat resistant which makes this clutch ideal for track day use where fast and frequant clutch engagement occurs.
My advise would be to use a clutch with a max torque capacity within 10% of the cars estimated max torque figure at the flywheel, given consideration to the cars intended use i.e Road, track or drag strip?
Engine BHP isn't a good way to decide upon a clutch or measure it's capabilities.

i have stated what i have found that the stage 2 clutch would not take 350bhp 340ft but it would take 330bhp 320ish ft as i have had this on my car and at both these level peeple have a right to no.. this the figures you qoute say that this will be able to take another 192ft seen as most sti have around 240ft p.s i only used my car for road use liek i say this stage 2 would be good for a lighty modded car any thing more then 320ft and it would just not be good enough

For what it's worth my STi is running 330bhp/ 333 ft lb and the stage 2 is fine.... no doubt if i wanted to i could give it death from the traffic lights and it would eventually slip, but for sensible fast road use its perfect. It's down to the individual driver at th eend of the day.

yeah i agree to some extent and im not knocking them for that power level and p.s i do not launch my car of the lights, this test was done by loading the car from 70mph in 6th and 5th was where it was slipping and at this speed is where you need the clucth to hold and not slip but for the money and that power level they are a ok option

In which case there was something wrong with the clutch or the fitting IMO and it should have been sent off for warranty testing. This isn't a problem i've come across before in all the time we've sold these kits.

I'd consider a multi-plate clutch for this sort of power to be honest. Send us a PM and i'd be happy to quote a few brands / applications we have available.
