Heres a Kevlar belt showing just how strong they really are. Had it not been for a Kevlar belt he would have had some serious damage to his motor costing thousand (its a race spec EJ22T).

Not saying it will happen to you, but just shows how strong these things really are, had it been an oe belt it would have snapped.
