Just had a little drive with new pulley fitted, you can definitely notice improved throttle response
The weight difference compared to the standard pulley is crazy!!!! My mechanic commented on the quality too, very good product.

Car manufacturers have to consider things like cost and make the car easy to drive for a wide range of drivers.
Like many parts on our Imprezas, aftermarket parts that reduce rotational mass (lightweight crank pulleys, flywheels) make the cars nicer and more responsive to drive. On the other hand if OAP rings up and enquires about fitting a 4kg flywheel and lightweight crank pulley for his drive to the Post Office, the lightweight parts wouldn't be recommended or suitable
