Hi PAS: A little more imformation would help. What gearbox, flywheel, torque, model and year, engine capacity.
At that power level chances are you need a triple plate but you might get away with a twin plate. Give me more information and I will get back to you

car is a my99uk turbo 4door.

I use it in saloon cup championship at castle combe so its only driven on track.

I am rebuilding the car after a big blow up and fire.
ppg uk 5speed gearbox
Fully forged 2.1
avcs heads ported polished uprated valves
rotated gt35 turbo
ceramic coated headers upipe and down pipe
850 injectors, may have to go larger
motec m400 ecu
lateral rad combo
not sure of power and torque as motor is not finished
Old flywheel has had a hard life so looking for a new one as well,
This is the old set up with the violent paddle clutch.started at the back as i forgot to plug my transponder in.

As said, Exedy twin plate as it comes with its own special flywheel.

The twin plate will be fine on a GT35R fed 2.1.
I'll be having the same on mine which is a 2.5L fed by a front mounted GT35R with ported AVCS heads, Cosworth cams and 1000cc injectors. Hope that helps.

Hi Harvey, I'm looking to the near future here, but can you suggest a 6 speed clutch which will take say 400 - 430 bhp? can you supply, and if so have you a ball park figure on cost? and do ACT do a 6 speed flywheel?
Also, I think API do something clutch wise for this power,, but no sure?

Thanks
Andrew

Thanks for that Andrew. I know we knocked spots off the e-bay price and these Stage 2 clutches for 6 speeds represent real value for money. I am interested to hear how it drives when you get it fitted. Pity you are not a bit nearer as we fit for a fixed £155.

The Exedy Stage 2 organic as sold by API or myself will do the job. These are running up to 440 ftlbs plus, I am told. They are 240mm and therefore the five speed ACT flywheel is not applicable. This will come with a lightened six speed flywheel and a relined organic disc.
