First of two cars finished in the last week, both major builds.

This is a WR1, 2.5 conversion, using Rick Wood CNC heads, Cosworth large valves and cams, GT35/42R twisted up pipe system with remote wastegate, Twin plate clutch, Perrin intercooler and fuel rails, with a swirl pot fuel system and Aeromotive pump and filter. Also Cosworth baffle plate with RC catch tank and oil return system, Cosworth large rotor oil pump, etc etc. Simtek on this one of course.
We've also fitted Apex suspension and K sport brakes.

This is the other one! 2.5 to start with of course, but now sports Cosworth billet short block with Rick Wood CNC heads, large Cosworth valves and cam kit. Also GT35/42R, Perrin fuel rails and Aeromotive pump. Twin plate clutch, RC catch tank and Cosworth baffle plate. Motec on this one.

The first two are customers cars. Personally, I prefer to apply my own standard to engine builds, if it doesn't look right, it isn't right. Cleaning the engine bay is pretty basic stuff I'd say, and if there is something in the budget for a bit of detailing, I'd always consider that money well spent.

Alan as you may or may not know I'm in the process of a 2.5 Closed deck block using a load of RCM parts. I'm now looking at turbo options. Could you give a rough idea of how the 35/42 would spool and what sort of power it would produce. I previously had a rotated GT30R (.082) but am now looking to move up a notch. Any info greatly appreciated.

Very nice job Alan. Everything cleaned up, properly mounted and all cabling and pipes logically routed.
Presentation makes a huge difference to customers. A bay that has had that attention to detail given to it shows the right approach to the build in general.

We can do it either way! You can have a base map, then run it in and then come for full map, or we'll do the whole thing in one go when you've got some miles on. It all depends what your spec is, re injectors, that sort of thing. We'll figure it out when we know more about your car, and do the right thing, no extra charge!

We ended up modifying two sets of very well made items that didn't quite fit!
To be fair, they were aware of the problem, and are rectifying it for the future, we accepted the situation due to time scale issues. We can make virtually any custom stainless exhaust or intake pipe system in house, I'll post up an example this evening.
