you say that there is no 'jammed' signal on the police laser unit, what does exactly happen, I thought they received an error message of sorts.

Wont the fact that they received the message cause them to investigate further?

If plod was to give the car a once over, what is the chance of him finding the devce?

As mentioned in the 1st post, the LT400 is sold and approved as a laser remote control system.

When used for this purpose, you will have one transponder on your car "searching" for the transmitting transponder on your garage / gates / or lights.

Reason for use and legal - switch on lights, open garage doors or gates.
We also offer the LT450 home kit which also has the home/gate/garage receiver thus giving 100% justification for owning the unit.

If an owner was stopped by the police, the owner might have to prove the system is being used to open garage doors / gates etc.

I would love one, but would not be prepared to take the risk of having the proverbial book thrown at me if it does indeed show an error message on plods gun

 

I would wait for the Defender2 later this month as it the most advanced system in the world and can jam the Atlantic Speed laser gun in stealth mode,Nothing on sale in the UK right now will do that so don't buy old out of date technology.
Leicestershire police use these and also other police forces right now.
Its on the home office approved list of guns.
It works by using a double pulse then pause pulse rate.
