OK I know this is going to open a whole can of worms but could I fit one to my standard 2006 WRX with no impact due to over fuelling or an increase in mpg?
I understand the fuel regulator should hold back any overflow and the ECU should only inject the amount of fuel it needs so can't see this a being a problem but would like some real world advice. Thank you.

The only way that fitting an uprated fuel pump will cause an issue is if the car has previously been mapped with a weak fuel pump fitted. This could be an oem pump which is old or just any pump which is weak when a full chat. The mapper would have to compensate for the weak pump in his map to make it fuel correctly. This is fine other than its running the weak pump even closer to its death.
Then if you fit a much stronger uprated fuel pump be it one of ours or a Walbro or a similar pump it will cause over fuelling.
This would then require the mapper to redo the fuelling in his map.
As long as you haven't had the car mapped to a weak pump then your fine to just fit and forget. If its been mapped to a weak pump any good mapper will advise an upgrade anyway and they will know what they have done with fuelling and advise you accordingly that they need to tweak it once the new pump is fitted..........
Hope this answers your question

We have our SWRD pumps made to our specs and have sold over 300 of these pumps to Subaru owners. A number of mappers and tuners alike use and recommend our pumps
Our pumps come from a company who makes pumps for some big names but im not giving anything away
