Wrxbob, you know how much a woos I was when we went to check it out, so you'll understand why I'm not going round.

But I'll go as a spectator, seeing that it's only 10 mins from my house, I could help you out on the day?.

One thing I would suggest Bob, is that all though it will be under our control, I would still suggest that people wear Crash helmets??

You mentioned its 1.25 miles, is it wide enough to overtake on the straights, and allow for some 'mistakes' on the corners?

Can't make this one but I've been on a Rallydrive course before in their Sierra Cossie on this track and it is quite good.

They have a gravel course as well but this probably isn't recommended if you want to keep your paintwork in one piece.

How many are going now

Had a little practice session today, trying different layouts.
Note, the track hasn't been swept in the photo's.
I WILL be sweeping it for sunday...by hand at 7.30am on the day





You can see from the photo's that there is loads of run off area's. Its so wide in places that the course is made narrow by using old car tyres...which can be moved to change the layout if required.

We did the course anti-clockwise at first then switched to clockwise later to give it more variety!

What time we all up there (Got to come from Robin hood land)

Start time will be around 10am Sunday.

The gates don't get locked 'till 7.30pm so there's more than enough time!

Will do a post with full info and better directions on Thursday/Friday, and will also send emails out.

A couple of people have had to pull out due to family / work commitments so places may be available.
