Straightliners are once again running the popular Grudgement day race siries at Elvington in 2011 the dates are

17th April
19th June
20th 21st August
19th September
2nd October
All these dates are at Elvington we may be adding other venues in the near future

If there are any rule changes you can think of to make it better please let us know

we are making some internal changes as to how we run the events to make them better

entry fees will be comparable to 2010 we are just waiting on our insurance costs ,,,,,Trev

Good shout but I'm not sure I'l be too competitive. Running fairly standard power in the modified class probably aint the best idea LOL

I was running 300bhp with a full fat Hawkeye, came 3rd in Modified scooby sprint.

Power is not every thing,

But GOD I'm looking forward to having a go with 550 BHP.

Anyway, its the taking part that counts.

Thanks for the comments.

car should be back next week, get it run in and mapped for the 17th

Your completely right re power not being everything but it certainly doesn't hurt lol. Remember my 1st track day, soon realised that having a well set up car is very important when a pug 306 was lapping a lot faster than me.

I'm really looking forward to it.

Glad to hear she's nearly done Bez !

A.J. has agreed to have a look at mine next month or the one after...

And having the cash to fix your car makes you quicker as well
