What would be the deal rtegarding me being an SIDC member still but having sold the STI 5 3 weeks ago. Is it possible to still go on track with another make?

I remember there were Evos and Exiges at both last years BH and the first Speed & feed that I attended.

I am assuming that the pax lap situation is the same as last year. You are permitted to take people out, but only in the front passenger seat. However, you have to drive around with an instructor or a club committee member to prove that your driving is of a sufficiently high standard first.

 

That's me on the track - look forward to meeting some of you guys down there.

Anybody got names/phone nos of anywhere to stay nearby as I'll be travelling down Sunday.

Depending on your budget, there's a jolly nice hotel on the premises or they generally allow camping

There's the Brands Hatch Place Hotel, tel: 01474-872239, or the Brands Hatch Thistle Hotel, tel: 01474-854900 (haven't a clue how much the rates are - as Puff said, probably is worth camping). Other than that, maybe the Bromley Court Hotel, tel: 020-8464-5011 - think they charge about £95 for a single room!!!).

Camping in November isn't really for me - in fact - camping isn't for me at all.
Think I'll stick with the £95 place : (Yeah right) I am from Yorkshire remember, so paying for anything is against my religion

 

The Brands Hatch Thistle is the one basically at the entrance gates to Brands and I'm sure that will be less than £95.00.

The one to go for in my view, Good thing is if you over sleep you will awoken by the sound of the track day starting!!

That's a bit of a mute point at the moment and will be discussed at the agm.
We allow EVO's and Lotuses to join our events as the SIDC has close links to both clubs and have shared events in the past.
If you are a current former-Scooby-owning member then I'm sure it will be OK.
We'll sort it out at the agm.

If not an open pitlane, and the format is not as per the pack we received....then can someone avail me of the exact details for the day with regards to track time, travelling quite a distance and overnighting I need to be assured of the correct format ....please
