I would suggest (unless you have spare)that you get some part worn tyres for your car because you will **** your tyres..

**** the tyres are wearing out rather quick as it is... only done 4K in MY01 and recon front tyres could be 50% worn.

No time/money to sort out spare set of rubber b4 Friday. Keep my fingers crossed that if I take it fairly easy could make them last a couple more months.

Other half is already taking the **** that I appear to be getting through tyres much faster than him - ergo I must have been driving like a loonie! If they last a couple more months we will see what his tyres look like after a couple of track days

Now guys dont all rush but speed and feed will be my first time on the circuit for ages and definately the first in a scoob. So... what is the protocol? Do I need to book and 'instructor'?

Would L plates be appropriate so that you know I will be a slow moving chicane

There will be a good drivers meeting at the start plus a chance to follow an instructor round the course to get you warmed up, also you can arrange for a instructor to drive or drive with you around the course so that you can learn the lines.. you can arrange this on the day..
