Is SUL available? Can't remember but I do know that the prices are way HIGH for whatever they do sell!

Think you'll need an octane booster, NOT lead replacement as this is designed to replace the lead in petrol. Not sure what effect the latter will have on your cat (assuming you've not had the car de-catted)

'lo there.

LRP is NOT good for your car/cat/bank balance.

Super is available from the Sainsbury's as you leave Bedford (big one on LHS A6) & also in the Jet petrol station (again LHS heading north - might be a Citroen dealer) in the next town along, approx 6 miles from BA.

SUL is also available at the circuit, but they don't take plastic - cash or cheque only.

Thought they might be! But presumably they will sell SUL at Toddington services (which I drive past every day) and failing that I know where Sainsburys Bedford is.

Thumbs up

Puff

Yes SUL is available or ordinary, but they don't fill it up - you have to order in round figures eg £30 or £35.

With my car on 1/4 full it took a £40 load and was full according to the gauge ( mind it still had space for a little bit of Octane Snakebite

Cheers

John

FB

I seem to remember 99p litre for something but I only run SUL at the beginning of a trackday then back to NUL 'cos thats what I normally run...

Mind you, after changing tyres at last Speed 'n Feed pump had shut & I'd only finished the sesh 'cos I was on vapour Ever so economical going to Bedford I was! It took 58 litres (NUL)

I can also say that fuel starvation only really occurs at the hairpin after the pit lane

99/litre is Donington.

Bedford was £35 for 30 litres in May (ouch!).

Best find some before you get there - you could pay for octane booster with the savings!

a) Agreed b) this is totally uncalled for and if it is the case how can I be blaimed for wearing out my tyres so quickly?
