rockingham ?
eh ? not sure if you're serious
but (because its a friday), there's both the "oval" and the infield - the usual circuit is a mix of the two. Bit like Mallory
Saying that, I saw some oval racing at Mallory a few weeks back. I fully expected it to be complete pants, but it was in fact highly entertaining. Mainly because people kept forgetting to slow down for the corners
Whats the supporters club all about ?

Just be careful of the kerbs on the infield chicane- did anyone see the Formula 3 coverage? Cars totally airbourne at 'take off' attitude. Rockingham have conceded that 'the kerbs may need lowering'
I don't think Scoobs will reach take off velocity though.....
Although a few may try

Hi Darren
I couldn't believe the way those F3 cars were taking off when they hit the curbs.Scary stuff
A bloke from work has booked to go and see the Indy cars when they come over in september.I was going to as well but he reckons they don't race in the rain which has put me off.He also said the best place to watch from is the grandstands at turn one or four because you can see over 80% of the track. The tickets are £100 each
I watched a saloon car race and they didn't seem to be using as much of the oval as I expected. Also the infield didn't look that exciting to drive although without driving it its hard to tell.

I am Rockingham on the 14th July.
Cant wait to try a new track, i wonder how quick the straight on the oval is?
should be fun.
I booked Oulton for the 4th august also. Love that track.

Rockingham website has speeds a reasonably well driven Porsche 968 achieved - He reached 120 mph on the banked corner then down the straight. It seemed a bit slower than I was expecting - anybody know how comparitively fast the scoobies are to the 968 ?
