Oulton Today - (Easy Track - Top Job gents)
#1
The words feckin excellent spring to mind. I was dreading today as i expected heavy rain through out the day which is what i woke up to.
I don't know i must be dead lucky 9 track days all dryish in the last year.
Anyway i took me slicks with me and fitted some buffered S02's as me RE010's were a tad worn and i didnt want to risk it.
Wahey got on the damp track, and it was slightly slippery, lots of sliding into and out of the first chicane. Would you believe it the sun came out !
Anyway to cut along story short, i didn't use me slicks today. It pi55ed it down at lunchtime so thought bugger it.
I had a top day, passed some Scoobs, Evos, and lots of Elises, Caterams, and Westies.
I was well impressed for road tyres.
A big thank you to Easy Track as the day was the best i have done, only a few spinners after the downpour, and no incidents.
Track ettiquete was excellent with only one small winge about a silver car, no names mentioned. Track was never overcrowded. I completed 130 miles on the International circuit all for £35 petrol. My Civic Type R keeps surprising people me thinks, buy and try i did - VTEC's don't you just love um.
I will use Easytrack more often.
Whens the next one ???
I am going to have a break from trackdays, well until next Wednesday at Bedford. Doing a Honda day with 2 ish hours on track and a opportunity to drive ITR, S2000 or NSX on track.
PS:- I didnt see any guys from this board, but i am sure you had good days aswell.

Robman that was me.
Amazin two Nobles in one place they are one sexy lookin car. It was nice to see an Ultima there too.
Deer hunter car was on top form yesterday, and the good thing is i know i can go quicker, the last session of the day i was braking far later into lodge and druids, the missus was gettin worrid. At druids i must have made up 200m on an Elise and passed him on the exit. LOL
Looking forward to the next Oulton, June me thinks.
