New Year Bash at Donington

Hi guys,
Donno have finally given the go-ahead for a track day at the circuit on Saturday 30th of December.
The price is £95 for the day, with passengers at £10.
The day will probably be divided up into two sessions of 1/2 hour per hour. Although depending on the number of cars on the day, it MAY go onto an open pitlane. This decision will be made on the day, NOT before.
If you are interested, then please phone the circuit direct; or call Stef who will bw handling the SIDC bookings. PLEASE do not e-mail, call, fax or generally annoy (
) me, as I do not have enough time to organise this.
What I AM trying to organise is for Redgate bar to be open AFTER () the end of the day for a grand social gathering before we all trudge our way home through the snow!!!!!!!
Everyone is invited. I may even let some non-Scoobs out on track, although if Andy Bolton wants to spit flame, he can sit at the end of the pitlane roasting chestnuts for us all to eat!!!!!
Seriusly though, if any TVR's fancy making it through the day without any mechanical mishaps, then they can come along too And anyone got a Ferrari 360 Modena as well ?? I need some practise before next year...

Stef i have emailed you with reservation for 3 places, all sidc members non Scoobie owners though. Allthough you can't book till tomorrow and then it may go to corparation Motorsport.
Wish someone would make upn there minds....Donno sort it out....

Just to let you know
01332 810 048 is the number
Press Option 3 Track Attack/Zone and they will take your booking.
They are 'limiting' it to 70 places so get dialing - we don't want any of those non-Scoobs to turn up!

If anyone wants to dangle chestnuts near my exhaust, they'll probably be done after a lap or so

Just spoke to Donington and they said they hadn't decided if they were going to go forward with the day yet.
How come you guys have booked up?

This morning all was hunky dory & going ahead
A question arose
& until the operations manager casts his FINAL descision tomorrow morning (when back in office), the FINAL decision as to whether it is going ahead is in the balance.Should it not be, then all those who've currently booked will have their money refunded (if taken) and will be informed on the contact number they gave.
The lady I spoke to seemed to think it was more than likely to go ahead as OUR day. She will inform me either way.
No harm in booking/reserving your places just in case...

Spent all weekend arranging cover at work as I was supposed to be working on the 30th.
Be a little disappointed if its off.

Just spoke to Donington, they are not taking anymore bookings until after lunch. This is when they have spoken with the operations manager.
So call after lunch.

Interesting - they happily took my money yesterday morning!
They also said it was a public day run by Trackzone, so make sure we fill it up with Scoobies.
Stef - was there any advantage (i.e. discount) with booking through you as an SIDC member?
