Hey, just a few questions,
Are there still spaces available for this?
Is it done in your own car?
Is there a db limit imposed?

Mark - is this the same noise limit as last time? I'd like to run my Magnex full system, but have STI backbox also which quietens it down nicely. Also, is it to be similar format to last time, ie. instructed first session then as-much-or-as-little thereafter?

Andy noise levels are the same however drive by meters have been introduced so if you think the car is load then stick a quieter back box
as you know its more about handling and lines than BHP.

Much the same start off with instructors slowly then use the instructors as much or as little as you wish. Instructors as you know will only introduce to the next techniques if you are ready for the next step.

Not sure what type of course Mike will want to set.

Mike and Antony Wilds are there for you to use and try new things or simply try to go quicker around the course

Steve thats on the list as are Adam and Mike

See you all in a month

See you all in less than two weeks.

Confirmed via payment

Andy WRX
Adam RA
Hugh WRX
Jay RA
Martin WRX
Mike WR1
Mike Pug 206 M16

Would be great if all could settle this week, any questions let me know.

Tyre wise would suggest you dont need track rubber as the circuit is high grip. Unless you are finishing of a set of tyres.

Passengers are allowed as long as they are over 11 all passengers under the age of 18 must wear helmets. (note passengers will not be allowed in cars with Instructors)
Egger Lawson can offer Driver training insurance if you prefer at low cost due to the low risk.

09:00 Driving exercises start. Drivers will be split into 2 groups

Please note Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground is a very busy Commercial Proving Ground for both mainstream car manufactors and motorsport houses. Extreme care must be taken whilst transiting the complex. Here is hoping for some wet weather.

Darren

I had an in-tail pipe silencer made up and it lowered mine from 104dB to 96 dB. It fits snugly into the tailpipe, but you could always get a longer silencer made up that protrudes from the tailpipe - might not look aesthetically pleasing - but will probably do the job.

Drop me a PM or get me at terry.buckel@btopenworld.com on MSN and I'll give you the contact details of who to speak to.

Cheers

Terry

Weather looking like it will be mixed with sunny spells showers and very cool, so better than hot and dry for what we want to do.
